Delete your data

Last updated: September 24, 2026

This page explains how to have Broctic Inc. delete the data it holds about you. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.

If you connected Instagram or TikTok

Broctic publishes marketing posts to social accounts that an app owner connects. To disconnect and have the related data deleted:

  1. Remove Broctic’s access on the platform. On Instagram, open Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites and remove Broctic. On TikTok, open Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions and remove Broctic. This immediately revokes our ability to post.
  2. We delete what we cached. Instagram notifies us when you remove access, and we erase the profile details we stored for that account — handle, display name and profile picture URL — and mark it disconnected. You get a confirmation code and a link back to this page.
  3. Nothing you posted is removed. Posts already published belong to your account on that platform. Delete them there if you want them gone; we cannot remove them for you.

Accounts connected through Upload-Post

Some Instagram and TikTok accounts are connected through Upload-Post, our publishing partner, which hosts the authorization and holds the access token instead of Broctic. For those accounts we never receive the platform’s user identifier, so a deletion request routed to us finds nothing to erase on our side — that is why a receipt above may say we held no data.

Removing Broctic’s access on the platform (step 1 above) still revokes posting immediately. To have Upload-Post erase what it holds as well, email irennie@broctic.com with the account handle and we will forward the request and confirm when it is done. They are listed on our Subprocessors page.

Deleting your Broctic account

Deleting your account removes your organization, its apps, and everything stored against them, including any connected social accounts. Email irennie@broctic.com from the address you signed up with and we will confirm before anything is erased. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

Some records are kept longer where the law requires it — billing records for tax purposes, and security logs. These are never used to rebuild a deleted profile.

Questions
